When your mind turns towards the Elysium fields,
And your spirit becomes heaven bound.
When something calls your soul to yield,
And your feet drift from the ground.
When a call of wisdom from the ages,
And the draw is far greater than fear’
The angels open a book, to reveal the pages,
“Listen,” they whisper, “The truth is right, hear.”
From a grain of sand, through to the largest of stars.
From valleys so deep through to the highest mountains.
From the tallest pulpit to the lowest of bars.
We are all one, flowing from the same fountain.
“But what of it?” My carnal mind does cry,
And slowly a gentle breeze caresses my stubborn chin.
My angel looks with compassion, “this wisdom you cannot buy.”
“To love all,” comes a whisper, “the journey starts by loving within.”
